History Behind the Label
2016 -
In 2016, Trap Youngan Records wasn't what it is now. At this time, TYR was known as "Kemaury Productions", which at the time was only a music production company. Kemaury Productions was based in Gretna, Louisiana. Later, it was moved to Sandy Hook, MS.
2016 -
2017 -
In 2017, Kemaury Productions was discontinued and rebranded as Trap Youngan Records. Everything changed, even the logo, support email, support phone numbers, etc. During this time, Jamal S. was recruited and received the title of a Co-Chief Executive Officer.
2018 -
2018 was all about improvements and progression. At this time, TYR started accepting applications for new artists. TYR also released Trap Youngan Distribution (a program for independent artists) and Trap Youngan Designer. Unfortunely, 2018 was also the year that Trap Youngan Designer was discontinued for most states in the US.
